Our Services
Whether you're looking for a new pair of spectacles, prescription sunglasses, sports eyewear or contact lenses, we can help!
When was your last preventive eye check? Diabetics, in particular, should have their eyes checked regularly. Call us now to arrange a free eye check.
Need your spectacles adjusted or a minor repair done? Drop by and say hello the next time you're in the Kingsley Village shopping centre. We'd love to see you. Check our location on the map below.
Spectacles are constantly evolving with style changes and in particular frame materials.
Many metal frames are now constructed of titanium or stainless steel which are light weight, strong and hypo-allergenic. Plastic frames are also available in a myriad of colours and styles.
We stock a mix of designer brands at economical price points and will order in your preferred brand if not in stock. When helping you select frames, we take special care to ensure they fit well for comfort, aesthetics and to accommodate your prescription requirements.
We predominately use precision ZEISS lenses, because of their innovative lens design technology, and we discuss all options to determine which lens type will give you the best result.
If you like your existing frames and they are in usable condition, we can usually upgrade the lenses. If not suitable, we will tell you. Peter has recently rejuvenated his own 30 year old Bolle sunglasses - bright red frames with a red mirror finish.
Peter will fit most spectacle lenses on the premises. Only a few need to be sent out for fitting into the frames.
Adjustments and minor repairs to spectacles are completed in store while you wait.
Contact Lenses are fitted by our optometrists, Marijana Mihaljevic and Robert Cosentino. At the appointment, they will consult with you on the appropriate choice of contact lens to meet your needs.
There are many different types of contact lens and we will help you select the type most suited to your needs. This is an essential factor in maintaining optimal eye health.
Some of our customers choose to wear contact lenses instead of spectacles for aesthetic or cosmetic reasons. Others wear contacts for optical reasons.
Contact lenses typically provide improved peripheral vision over spectacles and do not collect moisture or perspiration which can make them preferable for sports and other active, outdoor activities.
Customers can also wear sunglasses, goggles or other specialised eyewear with their contacts, avoiding the need to fit expensive prescription lenses.
Eye Health Checks are not only needed when you shop for a new pair of spectacles, they are vital to ensuring your eyes remain healthy.
Most problems with your eyesight can be corrected if detected early.
There are many reasons why you should book an eye check including age, difficulty reading, headaches and eye strain, etc. If you notice any problem with your eyesight, get it checked out by our optometrists. Don't put your eyesight at risk.
We recommend that everyone has an eye check done every 24 months and more frequently once over 65 years of age. Diabetics should check their eyes every 12 months.
The technology has improved greatly over the last decade and our optometrists will be able to show you detailed images and highlight any problems you may be developing.
Prescription Sports Eyewear that suits your activity and is correctly fitted can help you perform better as an athlete or sports enthusiast.
Clear sight is key to good performance in any sport and your eyes do need extra protection in an active outdoors environment from flying particles that may hit your eyes, rain, wind and the sun's glare.
Peter is an avid cyclist and he is always enthusiastic in helping you find the most suitable style and fit for your prescription but also to colour match your sporting attire.
We sell and recommend Bolle, Adidas, Oakley and Rudy Project sports eyewear but if you prefer something different we can order it in for you.
